I really liked the REA guides I used for my clep studying. The books are like textbooks: very comprehensive.. Besides that the TestWare software that comes with the books really helps in putting you in the right testing mindset, leaving you more confident come test time.

I purchased two of these books for my daughter specifically, english compostion and introduction to psychology. We found both books were excellent. She passed both tests as a result of studying the materials in the two books and doing the practice tests. The English compostion book also ahd sample compositions which wasa great guide to illustrate how the instructors could score the test. Additionally, the books give you an explanation of not just the right answers but why the other answers were not correct.
